Milwaukee MW102 WINE KIT PRO+ 2-in-1 pH and Temperature Meter for Wine
...Milwaukee Instruments makes water-analysis meters. It is not related to Milwaukee Tool. The pH range comes in four forms: pocket testers you dip straight into a sample, portable meters with a probe on a cable, bench meters for the lab, and monitors or controllers that stay on a tank or pool. Pick the form first, then the resolution and the extra parameters you need.

Several Milwaukee models read ORP as well as pH. The pH58 MAX
is the pocket option and replaces the discontinued ORP57. The MW105 MAX and MW106 MAX portables need the MA921B/2 ORP probe, sold separately, because the supplied probe reads pH only. The MW150, MW151, MW160 and MW180 MAX bench meters all read ORP in mV. Check readings with MA9020 ORP test solution.
The MC110 and MC120 PRO monitors display pH continuously. The MC122 PRO and MC720 PRO also dose to hold a pH set point. The MC125 PRO controls pH and ORP together, and the MC510 PRO controls ORP only. See all pH & ORP
monitors and controllers.
Every pH electrode wears out with use. Keep a spare Milwaukee probe or electrode and fresh pH buffer solutions, and store the electrode in storage solution between readings.
Milwaukee Meters is part of Pacific Sensor Technologies. To compare Milwaukee with Hanna and GOnDO pH testers, see the pH meter and pH tester range at Pacific Sensor Tech, or read the guide to how to select a pH meter. For ORP meters from Hanna, GOnDO and Milwaukee side by side, see Pacific Sensor Tech’s ORP meter range.
Rinse the electrode in distilled water, then calibrate in pH 7.01 buffer first. For a two-point calibration, follow with pH 4.01 for acidic samples or pH 10.01 for alkaline samples, rinsing between buffers. The pH600AQ, pH51, pH54 and MW100 are calibrated manually. The pH55, pH56 and MAX bench meters recognise the buffer automatically. Use fresh buffer each time and follow your model's manual for the exact key steps.
The pH58 MAX pocket tester, the MW105 MAX and MW106 MAX portable meters, and the MW150, MW151, MW160 and MW180 MAX bench meters all read ORP in mV. The MW105 and MW106 need the MA921B/2 ORP probe, sold separately. For continuous control, the MC125 PRO handles pH and ORP and the MC510 PRO handles ORP.
The pH55 PRO, pH56 PRO, MW102 PRO and MW803 MAX compensate for temperature automatically, and the MW105 and MW106 MAX offer automatic or manual compensation. The MW100 and MW101 PRO use manual temperature compensation, so you set the sample temperature yourself. Choose automatic compensation if
your samples are not at room temperature.
No. Milwaukee Instruments makes pH, ORP, conductivity, TDS and other water-analysis meters. Milwaukee Tool makes power tools. The two companies are not related.
Yes. The pH51, pH54, pH55, pH56 and pH58 MAX pocket testers and the MW803 and MW804 MAX testers all take a replaceable electrode, so you replace the sensor rather than the whole tester. Portable meters use a separate probe on a cable, such as the SE220 supplied with the MW100.
Keep the glass bulb wet in electrode storage solution, with the cap on. Do not store it in distilled or reverse-osmosis water, because that shortens its life. Clean it with electrode cleaning solution when readings become slow, then recalibrate.
